Posteo is cheaper, but no custom domains and only one mailbox. mailbox.org and Tuta offer a single mailbox per plan, additional ones cost extra. Migadu comes closest on unlimited mailboxes, but bills exclusively in US dollars and only annually.
On storage, ITSH has no advantage: mailbox.org Standard offers 20 GB, twice as much, and so does Tuta. If you want a single mailbox with plenty of room, you are better served there. DNS Authentication Without the Configuration Work
Emails from custom domains land in spam fast if the DNS records aren’t right. SPF defines which servers may send for your domain. DKIM cryptographically signs every message. DMARC sets the policy for when a check fails.
ITSH configures all three automatically when you add a domain. No manual copying of TXT records, no debugging deliverability issues.
If your domains are managed at ITSH, the DNS records are set directly. With external DNS, you get the required entries displayed for easy setup.

What ITSH Is Not
Not an end-to-end encrypted provider like Tuta or Proton Mail. Transport is TLS-encrypted, storage sits on the servers. If you need client-side encryption, those providers are the better choice.
