When something is broken
Kubernetes, web hosting, VServer, domains and email each have a troubleshooting page indexed by symptom, so start from the error you are actually seeing rather than from what you think caused it. The Kubernetes one is the largest: Kubernetes troubleshooting.

Term and cancellation
Web hosting packages, Kubernetes namespaces and email hosting run indefinitely and have no minimum term. Whether you pay monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly only sets how far ahead you are billed.
You can cancel at any time with Cancel under Packages. Before you confirm, the dialog shows when the contract ends. Until then everything keeps running normally.
- Paid monthly: the contract ends with the current billing month.
- Paid quarterly, half-yearly or yearly: the contract ends on the first monthly anniversary of its start that is at least 30 days after you cancel. If you booked on the 9th of a month, it ends on a 9th; if you booked on the 31st, it ends on the 31st or on the last day of a shorter month. The full months of the paid period still left after that are refunded after the contract ends. Partial months are not refunded. A SEPA direct debit is refunded once its return period has passed, a little over eight weeks after the debit. Where the amount can already be worked out, the cancel dialog shows it, and once the refund has been paid, the package shows it. If the contract ends after the paid period has run out, the time until then is billed pro rata.
As long as the contract runs and the period you paid for has not run out, Restore takes the cancellation back. Nothing is refunded then, and the package carries on as before.
